RNE Share the Love 2019-2020
The Battle for Breakfast
For the past three years RNE has participated in a school wide community service project. This is a perfect opportunity for families to work side by side and give back to the larger community.
To date, we have worked with The Drake House, Make A Wish Georgia, and Meals By Grace. Thanks to your generosity we have helped so many families in need. This year we will be working with North Fulton Charities. This organization collaborates with many local providers to provide the resources necessary to help individuals and families remain stable in our community. Just a few of the services they offer are financial assistance, food pantry, education programs, and senior services. The week of November 11th -15th we will begin collecting breakfast items to donate to their food pantry. We are calling this “The Battle for Breakfast”. Each Bear Den will compete to see who can bring in the most boxed breakfast items.
Below is a list of high need items that North Fulton needs for breakfast.
•Dry Cereal •Breakfast Bars
•Oatmeal •Baking Mixes
•Grits
On November 15th at 3:30 pm we will box up all of the collected items for North Fulton to pick up the following Monday. Families are welcome to join RNE at that time to sort and box up donated items.
